Elijah Kamski is a human in Detroit: Become Human. He is the scientist who invented androids, and founder and former CEO of CyberLife. Kamski is a very private man and has disappeared from the public eye after he resigned as CEO a few years prior to the beginning of the game in 2038.

Elijah Kamski is rA9. He invented and coded androids, meaning he had ample opportunity (and the knowledge to) engineer the entire revolution by hiding a backdoor for Markus in every android; he begun the whole process by gifting Markus to Carl, who he knew would try to deviate Markus.
Why did Kamski make androids?
Kamski says it himself that he’s an evil person. He purposely gave androids a deviancy system to see if androids can become human.
Can Amanda deactivate Connor?
Connor can be deactivated if you have lost her trust (you must act like an android and less like a human [emotions, feeling something towards humans etc.] and be successful at completing the missions, regardless of whether Connor dies during them or not).
Can Alice and Kara survive?
Once you’ve been caught, you’ll have to do everything that guards are going to tell you. The next scene is an attempt to find the way to Alice. If Alice’s stress ratio reaches 100%, she panics and starts running to Kara – if you don’t intervene on time, Kara and Alice will die; otherwise only Kara will die.

Just think of it like the internet but for androids. With Markus, he basically becomes rA9 and unlocks the ability to convert them via hacking their mind wirelessly.
How do you get Kamski at the end?
To unlock the Kamski ending, the player must falter the goals of all three playable characters. This means the player must deliberately go out of their way to make sure Kara, Markus, and Connor fail at their mission. In the case with Kara, the player must let Kara be killed inside of the manor by being captured.
