Can a JPEG have a hyperlink?

You don’t. JPEG is an image format, not a mark-up language. But you can create a web page with an image area being a hyperlink – the link would be in the page code, not in the image. No image supports hyperlinks because images are different type of data entirely.

Can you embed a URL in a JPG?

jpg can not contain an active url. One option is to use a visible QR code.

How do I give hyperlink to an image?

  1. Go to the block you wish to edit. Click on the EDIT icon .

  3. In the toolbar, click the URL LINK icon .
  4. Provide the Web site address (URL) you want the image to link to when a recipient clicks on it. Click on UPDATE.
  5. Click SAVE.
