Rooting is a process that allows you to attain root access to the Android operating system code (the equivalent term for Apple devices id jailbreaking). It gives you privileges to modify the software code on the device or install other software that the manufacturer wouldn’t normally allow you to.
Can a rooted phone be unrooted?
Any Phone that has only been rooted: If all you’ve done is root your phone, and stuck with your phone’s default version of Android, unrooting should (hopefully) be easy. You can unroot your phone using an option in the SuperSU app, which will remove root and replace Android’s stock recovery.
